Hold On Tight!!!

Embroid-a-Buddies! Common minds and common hearts started our friendship! That was the inspiration for this blog, to show you never really know where life will take you! An unlikely combination of a true to the bone Texan, Sara (lucky girl) and honestly, a Texan wannabee...me! Somethings you just don't have any control over in life...like your birthplace! A little late to try and change that one, dontchathink? So... I did the next best thing, moved here as soon as I could and married a Texan. After living here for 30+ years, I sorta feel like an honorary Texan, if that counts. Accepted into the folds of Texas culture, it is home. I have acquired the occasional drawl, learned the dialect and of course, dye my hair! They say when in Rome, do as the Romans do, surely Texas is the same.
There is something to be said...maybe that is why people say those old sayings! What a joy this adventure has been, through successes and the failures, the supportive friendships like ours, encourages us to step out of the box! Try something new, like embroidery, or sewing project we found and perhaps even a new recipe! Sara and I will be here, walking down the road to find out where it goes. Let's do it together, tag this blog and hold on tight, if nothing else this will be fun!
